Composting for Climate Survey T&C's

Compost Connect will award one (1) $250 Digital Visa Card to a randomly selected participant in the Compost for Climate Survey on Monday, February 3, 2025.

THE PROMOTION

This promotion will commence at 5 a.m. on Tuesday, 29 October 2024, and end at 5 p.m. on Friday, 31 January 2025 (the “Promotion Period”). To enter, a participant must complete both the Compost for Climate Petition and Compost for Climate Survey and submit a real name and a proper email address online during the Promotion Period to be entered into the draw to win a $250 Digital Visa Card.

THE PRIZE

There is a total of one (1) prize that will be issued to one (1) winner. One person will win the $250 Digital Visa Card.

HOW TO ENTER

A maximum of one entry per person may be submitted.
To be entered into the prize draw must complete both the Compost for Climate Petition and Compost for Climate Survey and submit a real name and a proper email address online by 5 p.m. Friday, 31 January 2025.
Compost Connect takes no responsibility for entries that cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason whatsoever. Proof of delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt by Compost Connect.

PRIZE DRAW

One (1) winner will be selected randomly from all entries from the Compost Connect Survey. The draw will take place at Compost Connect Office, Suite 202/59/75 Grafton St, Bondi Junction NSW 2022, at 10 a.m. on Monday, 3 February 2025 (“Initial Draw Date”).
The winner will be notified via email and given details of how to claim his/her prize upon notification of his/her win.
If a recipient does not respond to Compost Connect within 14 days of being notified by Compost Connect, then the recipient’s prize will be forfeited and Compost Connect shall be entitled to select another recipient in accordance with the process described above (and that recipient will have to respond to notification of their win within 14 days or else they will also forfeit their prize). If a recipient rejects their prize or the entry is invalid or in breach of these Terms and Conditions, the recipient’s prize will be forfeited and Compost Connect shall be entitled to select another recipient.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Participants must be 18 and over. To enter, they must complete both the Compost for Climate Petition and the Compost for Climate Survey via the Compost Connect website. They must submit a real name and a proper email address as part of the petition and the survey.
By submitting their entry, participants opt into communication from Compost Connect. They may opt out of the Compost Connect database at any time.
The eligible participation period is 5 a.m. Tuesday, 29 October 2024, to 5 p.m. Friday, 31 January 2025 (the “Promotion Period”).
The winner will be notified via email.
The winner will be determined via a random drawing of qualified participants. The odds of winning are determined by the number of participants.
Employees of BioPak and Compost Connect and their families are not eligible to enter.
Compost Connect accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected, incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Proof of delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt by BioPak and Compost Connect.
By accepting these terms and conditions, participants agree to our privacy policy and the winner agrees that Compost Connect is removed from any and all liabilities that may arise from the use of the prize.
The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes.

LIABILITY

The Promoter and any companies associated with this competition, accept no responsibility for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered [including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss] or for any personal injury suffered or sustained as a consequence of the use and enjoyment of any item gained via the prize except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings or the use thereof. It is the responsibility of each entrant to seek independent advice on the possible implications this may have on their own financial situation.
The Promoter is not liable for issues arising from items purchased with the Digital Visa Card.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any costs associated with the prize and not specifically included in the prize.
The Promoter reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this Promotion campaign with or without prior notice due to reasons outside its control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud). The decision of The Promoter in all matters under its control is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into. Should the Promoter cancel the Promotion the Promoter will:

5.1. Advertise that the Promotion has been cancelled by placing a notice on the Compost Connect website.

5.2. Not use the personal information you have provided.

The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion subject to the approval of the gaming authorities where required.
If all or any part of any term or condition contained in these Terms and Conditions shall be declared or become unenforceable, invalid or illegal for any reason, such term or provision [or part thereof] shall be deemed severed from these Conditions of Entry and the other terms and conditions hereof shall remain in full force.
Participation in the Promotion implies acceptance of all conditions of entry.
